At Skyland, we love our horses and love to ride. Under the direction of expert horsewomen, the girls are taught to care for horses, sit correctly, and manage their mounts properly. After confidence is gained in the ring, the campers are taken on rides over mountain trails and country roads. Advanced riders go on overnight trips on horseback. Safety in both the ring and on the trail gets top priority to assure a great experience for beginning and advanced riders. Our formal horse show is the most eagerly anticipated event of the summer.
