The Skyland community lost a dear friend when Mark Rathbone passed away peacefully last evening, November 14, 2011.

In fact, nobody knew Skyland Hill better than Mark.  As a primary groundskeeper and employee for 70 years, he knew every nuance of every building, outpost, attic, crawl space, tree and rock on the hill.

His dedication was unparalleled and his presence will be sorely missed.

Services will be held at his Clyde church on Saturday, 11/19/11.
