Session Dates for Girls Camp
Camp sessions filled with wonder and joy
Skyland’s small size and multigenerational community sets us apart. With no more than 60 campers, Skyland is one of the smallest camps of its kind. It is an environment in which each individual is an important member, and even the youngest and newest campers have opportunities to grow, lead, and contribute. Most campers attend Main Camp, where they experience everything Skyland has to offer, from opening night games to closing night Banquet. Younger campers may attend a Starter Session, specifically designed to help campers transition comfortably into overnight camp. All sessions are filled with rich camp traditions, fun activities, and magical moments that foster friendship and confidence.
Clear Rates and Tuition Assistance Options
Tuition, Deposit Details, and Financial Aid
Skyland’s tuition reflects our commitment to small-scale, high-quality programming in a historic setting. Our rates cover lodging in screened-in cabins, daily activities, meals prepared by culinary professionals, and ACA-accredited supervision. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your camper’s spot, with the balance due by May 1. For families needing support, our Campership program provides need-based financial aid, including up to 100 percent tuition coverage for eligible households. We recommend early application for financial aid, as funds are limited and awarded on a rolling basis. Tuition covers all standard activities, while optional add-ons, such as white-water rafting, have a separate fee. We are committed to pricing clarity so families can plan with confidence, knowing there are no surprise charges. Additionally, each camper will need funds added to her spending account for laundry, Skyland store purchases, replacing forgotten or lost items, and special events. We recommend $150 for rising 1st-6th grades and $350 for rising 7th-10th grades.
What’s Included and How to Register
Camp Features and the Enrollment Process
Every Skyland camper enjoys a full summer experience rooted in tradition and fun. Tuition covers all meals, lodging, daily activities, and evening programs on our tech-free campus. Campers benefit from a 3 to 1 camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring personal attention in every cabin and activity. Historic sleeping porches, daily mail call, and classic Skyland traditions like Song Night create a sense of belonging and nostalgia. The registration process is straightforward: submit your application online, pay the deposit, and complete required health forms. Our staff is available to help with each step, address dietary or medical needs, and answer questions about session selection and payment timelines. For families with first-time campers, we offer resources to ease nerves and ensure a positive start. Enrollment is capped at 60 campers per session to keep our “small by design” community, so early registration is recommended.

Questions About Camp Dates, Rates, or How to Enroll?
Answers on Session Timing, Tuition, and Financial Aid
What are the differences between Main Camp and Starter Camp sessions?
Main Camp offers a longer, fully immersive experience, while Starter Camp provides a shorter session ideal for younger or first-time campers easing into camp life.
What is included in Girls Camp tuition?
Tuition covers lodging, meals, on-camp activities, and support from trained staff throughout the session. Tuition fees do not cover weekly laundry service, an optional white-water rafting trip for older campers, purchases at the camp store, or spending money for off-site trips.
Please note: Starter Sessions are available exclusively for rising 1st–4th graders.
Why an all-girls camp?
Girls excel in environments where their unique needs and styles are understood and respected. In a camp environment, where campers create their own identities and self-concept, an all-girls setting can be especially beneficial. As girls move into adolescence, it becomes more and more critical for them to retain their voice and begin to develop the leadership skills and strengths that will carry them forward in life.
In Skyland’s all-girls environment, campers discover enormous amounts of inner strength, pride, power, potential, and flexibility. They learn to take risks and manage consequences. They gain confidence, cultivate grit, and explore their authentic selves.
Are there shorter options for first-time campers?
Yes, Starter Camp sessions are specifically designed as shorter experiences to help first-time or younger campers transition comfortably into overnight camp.
When should families plan to secure their preferred session?
Sessions can fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register early to ensure availability for their preferred dates and camp experience.
